Our luxury holiday home on the Breede River has the look-and-feel of a grand, traditional farmhouse. Overlooking the banks of the Breede River, Peacehaven Cottage is split into the Manor House (sleeps 8), and two converted Boat Sheds (sleeps 2 each).
Our self-catering river accommodation is ideal for large families who have different generations with different needs, or for groups of friends. There are various communal areas for dining, relaxing, watching TV, and connecting. The Lapa (thatched gazebo) has enough space for everyone to gather in, and is a favourite spot for sundowners and late-night fire-side chatter. Peacehaven Cottage is one of our most popular weekend getaways on the Breede River.
Our two converted Boat Houses have an old-world charm. Stone Cottage is a romantic, self-contained break-away cottage that’s perfect for two people who like privacy and their own space. As far as Breede River holiday homes go, you’ll find Peacehaven Cottage idyllic and welcoming.

A firm favourite for Cape Townians who want to escape the city, the Breede River is a region where one can enjoy peaceful days within a unique biosphere. And at night, you’ll see starry skies, uninterrupted by light-pollution.
